Community safety and security are vital to public well-being, yet many barangays face difficulties in managing safety concerns effectively. Delays in complaint handling due to manual, paper-based systems contribute to public dissatisfaction and inefficiency. These outdated processes hinder the tracking of incidents and slow emergency responses due to poor coordination among safety officers. To address these issues, the Barangay Safety and Security Services Management System with Suggestive AI was developed. This online platform automates complaint submission, response tracking, and officer coordination. The integration of suggestive AI enhances the system by categorizing complaints in real time, improving response accuracy and efficiency, and fostering a more responsive safety environment for residents. The project followed the Agile methodology to ensure adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Development was carried out in iterative sprints, each focused on refining specific modules. Stakeholder interviews and user feedback guided the design of a responsive system tailored to the operational needs of the barangay safety office. The system architecture supports modular feature integration, user-friendly interfaces, and intelligent assistance via suggestive AI to aid in complaint categorization and tracking. The implementation of the system resulted in improved complaint processing times and enhanced accuracy in categorizing resident concerns. Users experienced fewer delays in responses and increased transparency in tracking complaint status. The system also reduced missed appointments and communication gaps between residents and barangay safety personnel. The AI-driven assistance feature streamlined the submission process, making it more accessible and less burdensome for citizens. The Barangay Safety and Security Services Management System with Suggestive AI has demonstrated substantial improvements in local safety service delivery. Automation and AI integration have increased responsiveness, operational efficiency, and citizen engagement. The suggestive AI module played a critical role in simplifying complaint processing and enhancing the user experience. Future system enhancements may include expanding interoperability with other LGU platforms, incorporating advanced data analytics for safety trend analysis, and introducing additional features to strengthen community trust and satisfaction.
