Abstract

This study aims to assess the factors affecting job satisfaction among regular employees of Lite Express International Inc. in Quezon City. It explores various employee profiles, including age, gender, highest educational attainment, tenureship, salary range, and assigned business unit. The study focuses on three primary areas of job satisfaction: compensation and benefits, work environment, and leadership style. It is guided by the hypothesis that there is no significant difference in job satisfaction based on employee demographic profiles. The study employs a descriptive-quantitative research design and was conducted over a seven-month period, from September 2024 to March 2025. A total of 83 regular employees participated in the survey. Prior approval was secured from Lite Express International Inc. before the distribution of the questionnaires in December 2024. Clarifications were provided during the administration of the surveys to ensure respondent understanding and accuracy of responses. The researcher ensured timely data collection and maintained consistent engagement with the participants throughout the process to enhance data reliability and credibility. The findings focused on how compensation and benefits, work environment, and leadership style influence job satisfaction. The study examined the relationship between employee demographic profiles and their perceptions of job satisfaction. Results provided insights into whether differences in satisfaction levels exist across variables such as age, gender, educational attainment, and length of service. The study contributed to a deeper understanding of how various organizational factors affect employee engagement, productivity, and performance. The findings aim to assist the management of Lite Express International Inc. in identifying areas for improvement to enhance employee satisfaction. Such improvements are expected to lead to increased performance, better engagement, and a more conducive work environment.
