Public trust and cooperation are essential foundations for effective law enforcement and community well-being. This study investigates the effectiveness of the community relations efforts of Police Station 14 in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City, as a basis for fostering trust and cooperation between the police and the public. The study explores how cultural perceptions, community involvement, police visibility, and officer behavior influence public perceptions of law enforcement. These factors have gradually reshaped the foundation of police-community relations, emphasizing the need for strategic engagement and transparent practices. A descriptive research design is utilized in this study. The respondents include 50 individuals from Barangay Holy Spirit, comprising 10 law enforcement officers and 40 community residents. Purposive sampling is applied to identify participants who have direct experiences with Police Station 14’s community programs. Data are collected through a validated survey instrument and are analyzed using descriptive statistics to assess the effectiveness of community policing strategies and their impact on public trust and cooperation. The results show that police-community relations significantly influence public perceptions of law enforcement. Respondents report that regular communication, transparency in operations, and community outreach activities contribute to stronger cooperation and increased public trust. Law enforcement visibility and consistency in behavior are also noted as critical factors in building positive relations. However, challenges remain, particularly in sustaining engagement and addressing lingering skepticism rooted in past experiences. These findings suggest that continued and consistent community involvement is essential in reinforcing effective policing practices. This study concludes that the community relations efforts of Police Station 14 have a positive impact on building trust and fostering cooperation within Barangay Holy Spirit. The perspectives of community members highlight the importance of ongoing engagement, visible police presence, and transparent operations.
