This study focuses on enhancing community safety and disaster readiness in Barangay Unang Sigaw, Balintawak, Quezon City. It presents the background of the study, related literature and studies, theoretical and conceptual frameworks, statement of the problem, assumptions, scope and delimitations, significance, and definition of terms. The research underscores the importance of preparedness in minimizing the damage disasters whether man-made, natural, or technological, can cause. Disasters disrupt normal community operations beyond the capacity for internal recovery, and factors such as public health emergencies, unplanned urbanization, climate change-induced relocation, and violence can exacerbate their impact. Given the increasing frequency, complexity, and severity of disasters, this study aims to offer practical recommendations and strategies to improve community safety and preparedness in response to identified issues. The methodology outlines the research design, respondents, sampling technique, research instruments, validation process, and statistical treatments. The process of administering and retrieving the instruments was systematically conducted to ensure the reliability of the gathered data. The results are presented through tables, analyses, and interpretations of the data collected. These include the demographic profile of the respondents, their responses to survey questions, and the statistical treatments applied. The discussion summarizes the findings and presents conclusions on enhancing community safety and disaster readiness in Barangay Unang Sigaw. Recommendations are provided for parents, community residents, and other stakeholders to address identified issues and implement effective solutions.
