Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the Job Satisfaction Among Food Service Department Employees Performance of S&R. In terms of age, gender, educational attainment and job position. The study utilized descriptive research design using quantitative approach and purposive sampling technique. Job satisfaction is a measure of an employee's contentedness with their job, the feeling of enjoyment or fulfillment that a person derives from their job.

The researchers use Likert-Scale questionnaire to conduct a survey, A Likert-scale is a type of rating scale, often found on survey forms or questionnaires, that measures how people feel and levels of agreement which can be useful in many different situations.

The result of this study would provide information on how job satisfaction affects the performance of employees on S&R Congressional. Researchers will use Likert-Scale questionnaires as an instrument to gather information and data.

This study concerns the positive and negative impact of job satisfaction on the performance of S&R employees in Congressional. The chosen respondent of this research is focused on the food service department. The respondents of this survey were open to both genders and had no age limit for employees of S&R in Congressional. The participants of the study are chosen from fifty (50) employees of the Food Service Department of S&R Congressional, Quezon City. The results of the study reveal that the majority of the respondents are female, with 64% or 32 individuals. Most of the respondents are 25-34 years old, with 50% or 25 individuals. Most of the respondents are production staff, with 50% or 25 individuals. Most of the respondents are college undergraduates, with 42% or 21 individuals. Respondent is highly satisfied with their tasks, self-assessment abilities, and awareness of necessary improvements. They also express satisfaction with colleagues, workload, decision-making empowerment, support, and participation opportunities despite challenges. However, there's room for improvement in compensation satisfaction. This study will be beneficial to students who are currently working. They became aware of this study and know the importance of job satisfaction to the performance of their work.
