Roles of Information and Communication Technologies on Office Communications at Barangay Bagbag, District 5 Quezon City

Abstract

The ICT includes all digital technology that assists individuals, businesses, and organizations
using information and services; it covers all electronic products that deal with information in a
digital form. The purpose of this study is to change the way in which we communicate with
each other, how we find needed information, work, conduct business, interact with
government agencies, and how to manage our social lives directed to delineate what these
encounters and mean will improve arrangements and the advancement of policing
methodologies on office communications.

The result in the demographic profile Table 1 shows that the highest rank is female. Table 2
shows that the highest is 19 years old to 30 years old. Table 3 Job position indicates that the
highest is other with 36%. Ineffectiveness in Table 4 shows the strong relationship with your
employee, which shows the highest weighted mean of 3.92. Inefficiency in Table 5 shows
body language is the highest weighted mean of 3.72%. Table 6 Accessibility of
communication channels and tools shows maintaining confidentiality in every resource or tool
that used the highest weighted mean of 3.48. In the email in Table 7, utilizing the right
communication tools shows the highest weighted mean of 3.42. In Table 8, messenger apps
as ineffective tools for mass communication show the highest weighted mean of 3.22%. In
Table 9, video conferences, the highest weighted mean of 3.22% is Zoom meetings.

The study showed that the employee's office communication, maintaining good contact and
trust with their workmates, makes the relationship strong as office workers, builds a positive
work environment, eliminates efficiencies, and upgrades the employee skills are the backbone
of the development of the company and efforts involvement in any task could make or break
the target. Thus, the study recommends an improvement plan for the growth and development
of the Barangay employees, which will lead to the effectiveness and efficiency of office
communication.
