Abstract

The chemical spray is a worldwide problem because it can contaminate soil, water, turf, and
other vegetation. In Davao Region in the Philippines, the Department of Health banned aerial
spraying of pesticides when they found out its negative health effects on residents. On the
other hand, garlic cloves (Allium Sativum) can be used in a few different ways to control pests,
especially cockroaches, but the most common method is to make a garlic spray.

The results of this analysis in terms of ingredients, procedural methodology, effectiveness,
environmental impact, and presentation are Agree. The overall mean obtained by the
chemical engineers is 2.87, interpreted as agreement, while the environmental engineers
obtained an overall mean of 3.05, interpreted as agreement. The T-computed value is 0.599.
T-critical is 3.355 with an alpha level of 0.01 and degrees of freedom of 8, indicating there is no
significant difference between the two groups of respondents.

For further improvement of the study, respondents recommend an odor-masking agent and
control of the salt. A safe boiling temperature and avoid using bare hands, observe the
repellent effect in days or weeks, try it on other insects such as mosquitoes, and enhance the
appearance of the bottle spray.
