The Automatic Aquarium Cleaner (AAC) is an idea projected by a researcher to simplify the
maintenance of fish tanks. Angle tanks require shop cleaning to keep harmful toxins and
accidents that could lead to fish poisoning. The importance of the Automatic Aquarium Glass
Cleaner with Water Quality Sensor using Arduino is that it monitors salinity and algae growth,
collects chemical waste, and reduces the clock and effort required for tankful cleaning.
The prototype of the automatic rifle Aquarium is undefined and is designed to move crossways
through the fish tank glass to remove hindrances and prevent algae growth. It operates during
nighttime, and its front pattern is forward and backward. It moves from the left to right and then
to the rectified earlier, returning to its original position. The device detects and avoids fish in its
path, and the proprietor receives SMS notifications about the irrigation quality, including
temperature and total dissolved solids (TDS) levels. Overall, the AAC is a useful tool for
maintaining a healthy and safe environment for fish.
This study presents an automated aquarium glass cleaner with water quality monitoring using
Arduino that is designed to cater to the size of a fish tank and the thickness of the glass. Data
Gathered shows the majority of the respondents are male, ranging from 31 to 40 years old,
while the highest number of respondents on educational attainment with graduates is 67%.
The evaluation of the survey shows that the target clients agree with the proposed prototype
since the weighted mean of all indicators is more than 3, according to the rating of the Likert
scale. To design a new innovative product, the researchers hypothesized that the Arduino
Uno is an effective electronic device to make the Automatic Aquarium Glass Cleaner with a
Water Quality Sensor using Arduino functional.
