Abstract

This research study is about the Importance of Police-community Relations Basis for Improve
Community Policing Program in San Agustin Novaliches, Quezon City. As individuals, we all
wanted to work in a peaceful environment where we were capable of sharing our knowledge,
skills, and ideas to achieve the success we were working for. Building a harmonious
relationship in the workplace with the police community results in a better outcome. Improving
Community Policing Program leads to good police- community relations in San Agustin
Novaliches. Police-community relations are imperative for developing trust between police
and citizens. Each of us has an ideal workplace in mind that is engaging and where we are
eager to apply our abilities, information, and ideas to the accomplishment of our objectives. It
is possible to improve police-community relations and achieve greater results through
developing strong working connections and positive police-community relations. For the
public to have confidence in the police, there must be strong police-community ties.

The result of the summary of the Assessment of Two groups of respondents at Barangay San
Agustin Novaliches, Quezon City, obtained a composite weighted mean of 3.69 as Strongly
Agree in response in Barangay officials and 3.68 as Strongly Agree in response to Residents
in the community. In terms of Public Safety, Barangay officials got 3.63 as Strongly Agree, and
Residents got 3.75 as Strongly Agree. In terms of the Peace and Order Program, Barangay
officials got 3.73 as Strongly Agree, and Residents got 3.64 as Strongly Agree. In terms of
Transparency, Barangay officials got 3.70 as Strongly Agree, and Residents got 3.66 as
Strongly Agree.
