Implementation of Fire Safety Training in Selected Business Establishments in Barangay Bagbag Quezon City

Abstract

Fire safety refers to the precautions that are taken to prevent a fire that results in damage,
injury, and death. Fire safety is the most important component of building safety. Fires are
damaging to property, cause injury or death, and can even eliminate jobs since many
buildings are destroyed by fire. If fire safety had not come, people would have faced a lot of
probleMs. An important part of a fire safety plan is communicating with the fire department.
Fire safety training is the set of practices intended to reduce the destruction caused by fire. It is
an important skill to obtain regarding the safety of everyone who might be in the building. Fire
safety measures include those that are intended to prevent the ignition of an uncontrolled fire.
A safe workplace is everyone's responsibility, not just the management or the designated
safety personnel, and it is crucial that all the building staff understand the necessary
knowledge and preparation of techniques. Keep the workspace clean and dry. Maintain clear
and easy access to all exits and install and maintain all essential fire safety equipment. Fire
prevention is essential for minimizing fire hazards and preventing fires from occurring. This
involves regular inspection, maintenance, and testing to identify and remove fire hazards. Fire
prevention also involves educating people about potential fire hazards and appropriate
measures to prevent fire outbreaks.

Based on the result of the study, most of the respondents are male and college graduates.
The fire safety guidelines, logistics, and manpower have a positive effect on the
implementation of fire safety training in business establishments. The results of this study
showed the effect of the implementation of fire safety training in business establishments in
Barangay Bagbag Quezon City.
