Abstract

This study aimed to assess the increasing cases of juvenile delinquency at Barangay
Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Quezon City.


Results showed that the respondents had a moderate level of knowledge and awareness of
juvenile delinquency, neglectful parenting, recruitment of Gangs in school, the presence of
gangs, lack of parental guidance, and peer pressure as the main causes of juvenile
delinquency in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Quezon City.


The study recommends the implementation of community-based programs and interventions
to address the increasing cases of juvenile delinquency in the barangay.
