The purpose of this study is to understand the revival of crime prevention in modern times and
the fundamental values and principles behind the notions of crime prevention strategies in
terms of situational, community, and barangay ordinances. Despite the fact that we have sent
many patrolmen to the streets, the crime rate is still rising. Enhancing crime prevention
supports the anti-criminality campaign plan that covers the eight focus offenses. Managing
Police Operations Physical harm, robbery, theft, kidnapping of motor vehicles, kidnapping of
motorbikes, rape, homicide, and murder. Every crime has a different crime profile, and no one
can claim that they have the best strategy to reduce the increase. To address this issue, law
enforcement agencies have already shifted to the principle of crime prevention rather than
crime-fighting in order to determine their effectiveness and efficiency in achieving and
maintaining peace and order, protecting civil rights and civil liberties, and enforcing the law.
This research used a descriptive method because it describes a population, situation, or
phenomenon that is being studied. It is also designed for analyzers to gather information
because it's important to have a proper understanding of what a research problem is all about.
Descriptive methods allow the researcher to analyze facts and help in developing an in-depth
understanding of the research problem. Since the topic is all about the Crimes Prevention
Strategies at Barangay Novaliches Proper, Quezon City, this method is suited.
The result of this study reveals that the responded "Strongly Agree" that there are police
visible in the area; increasing the number of CCTV cameras in public and Street Parking
Regulations are the implications to prevent criminality at Barangay Novaliches Proper,
Quezon City.
The researcher recommended increasing the presence of Law Enforcement Personnel and
Barangay Officials in high crime areas by patrolling and roving in areas, especially at night,
and also providing counseling and support to victims of crime.
