Abstract

The Challenges encountered by Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) Located at Kamuning
Quezon City Jail is the Complicated Situation of "PDL" Person Deprived of Liberty, and The
Researchers have strongly found the Relevant Issues, Conclusions, and Cases of Detainees
in Kamuning Quezon City Jail. The researchers will conduct the research to see what happens
and what the situations are like in jail or prison. Some of the detainees are still being held in
custody for some reason. Whatever the reason for their detention, people deprived of their
liberty are, by definition, vulnerable.

Respondent assesses the challenges encountered by a person deprived of liberty in
Kamuning Quezon City Jail in terms of safety, health, and facilities. Inmates face abuse from
each other, but they also have to account for being abusive by prison guards, Having mental
health problems and anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and Lack of water supply and
ventilation. The target population of this study is the 30 individuals that participate in the target
market for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), which can be broadly categorized into four
groups: individuals with dependents, individuals with chronic health conditions, high-risk
variety cases, and individuals with sexual harassment.

The discussion demonstrates the challenges encountered by persons deprived of liberty in
Kamuning Quezon City by sustaining enough facilities to prevent the crowded area or place
inside the jail and assigning health care services for prisoners to check them twice a week. An
additional program that aims to provide opportunities like educational programs to achieve
their mandatory education. The solution to prisoner’s dilemmas can focus on their complaints
and problems and improve the facilities to prevent the spread of disease inside the area that
will cause skin disease. As stated by the group of respondents, measures proposed to solve
and address the problem encountered by the respondents were regarded as “Highly
Recommended.”
