Abstract

This study evaluates the Competitive Edge of Goose and Bear Car Wash based on the Market
Competition along Brgy 168 Caloocan City in terms of product or service, Place, Price, and
Promotion and based on the market competition in terms of threats of new entrants, power of
supplier, power of buyer/customer, availability of substitutes and competitive rivalry.


The results of this study reveal that the competitive edge of Goose and Bear Car Wash is
highly competitive in terms of product, price, and competitive in promotion; the competitive
edge of Goose and Bear Car Wash based on the market competition is Competent in terms of
threat of new entrants, power of supplier, availability of substitutes and competitive rivalry,
while Somewhat competent in power of buyer/customer.


This study recommended strategies for improving Goose Bear Car Wash's competitive edge.
The first strategies proposed are to have Referral Programs, Offer loyalty programs, Utilize
Social media, Respond to reviews, Provide excellent customer service, Offer different service
levels, Use different cleaning products, Offer online booking and scheduling, use Television
for entertainment, Put a Coffee vending machine, Provide accessible comfort rooms,
Separation of area for different vehicles, Provide comfortable bench for waiting area and,
Execute training for employees.
