Abstract

The concept is to cook their burger patty and toppings. Customers can choose their mix of ingredients, such as lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and cheese, to create their burgers. In addition to the beef patty, the business also offers bacon, ham, and grilled egg. It offers unlimited burgers and ingredients. Beogeopsal is located in Edsa Muñoz, Quezon City with approximately 41 sqm. The initial investment for Beogeopsal is Php 1,000,000. This business employs seven personnel. The research method used was qualitative analysis. The research determined the viability of the business and identified the factors and potential problems that can occur in developing the business idea. By using mix method, the researchers chose 50 respondents composed of students, workers, and residents. Structured questionnaires to be filled out by the respondents were distributed. This study also used SWOT analysis to build on what the business does well, address what the business is lacking, minimize risks, and take the greatest possible advantage of chances for success. It also utilized financial statements to examine the financial data for the business performance to evaluate the future risks and estimate the potential. The respondents were composed of 29 females and 21 males. The researchers found that 17 respondents were in the age range of 21–25 years old. These respondents are classified as employees who generally eat a burger. A total of 100% of respondents preferred to eat a hamburger. Therefore, all respondents love eating a hamburger, 83% of the respondents like to eat a cheeseburger, 17% of the respondents do not like eating a cheeseburger, 72% of the respondents agreed to the price of the burger, 28% of the respondents disagreed with the pricing, 63% of the respondents were satisfied with the location of the business, 37% of the respondents did not agree. A total of 100% of the respondents will promote the product to their friends to help the business become recognized in the food industry and grow it. The researchers expected to have a return on investment on the 5th year of the operation with the amount of Php1,338,906.66. The weaknesses of the business include competitors and price. Many competitors are selling hamburgers at a low price. As a new business in the food industry, it is difficult to promote this business. Hence, the business will promote unlimited burgers, which is one of the strengths of the business and what sets it apart from other competitors.
