Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is currently affecting the entire world and is very bad for all economic sectors. Students encounter different problems in virtual classes, which is often true for our teachers and professors. It occurs within the home, school, and in the community. Having bad connectivity, no electricity, no availability of strong internet access, and no computer are the main issues teachers in distant places encounter while trying to reach students online.

The researchers used a simple random sampling technique in selecting respondents. The thirty (30) teachers from San Gabriel Elementary School were chosen as participants for this study.

The researchers found out that teachers have strong internet speed, encountered problems in using DepEd LMS, encouraged the participation of parents, and unnecessary noise. The researchers also discovered that teachers prefer to have a strong connection with their students during virtual teaching, which benefits the students' academic performance.
