Abstract

One of the disadvantages of being working students is that they are often short on time and commonly find themselves with limited time to study and sleep and have unhealthy eating habits. However, students should not feel discouraged to work while studying in college, but they should be mindful of the commitment and plan accordingly. The main objective of this study was to determine the effects of workload on the academic performance of working students. The results utilized the descriptive method as the research strategy. The results of this study showed that most working students encountered conflicts in schedule. Hence, students should know how to manage their time and create plans ahead of time to utilize their free time productively.
