Abstract

This research focused on making a new flavor of brownies. A brownie is a small baked chocolate-flavored dessert. The use of tamarind in brownies is not popular. Hence, people easily recognize it when they eat brownies. Brownies come in a variety of forms and can have either fudge frosting, cream cheese, chocolate chips, or their ingredients. A variation made with vanilla rather than chocolate in the batter is called a blonde brownie was developed in the United States at the end of the 19th century and popularized in the US and Canada during the first half of the 20th century. This study used experimental research. The researchers utilized simple random sampling to select the respondents. The researchers assessed the variables of tamarind brownies, such as taste, texture, nutritional value, price, and presentation, and were all acceptable. Hence, tamarind brownies will be a great innovation. The improvement of this product is recommended.
