Background information on community-oriented policing, a strategy that attempts to foster mutual respect and trust between the police and the community, is given in this paper. Public mistrust and use-of-force accusations have drawn attention to the idea of community policing. This report gives background information on community-oriented policing, a strategy that seeks to increase mutual respect and trust between the community and the police. Public mistrust and use-of-force accusations have drawn attention to the idea of community policing. Creating neighborhood alliances, solving problems, and putting community policing organizational elements into practice are the three main facets of community policing. The importance of community policing in boosting police legitimacy and strengthening ties between the police and the community is supported by related research and literature. Law enforcement organizations can improve direct communication with the public and foster trust by using social media. In order to foster mutual respect and trust between the police and the community, community-oriented policing is a practice that is discussed in this study. Public mistrust and use-of-force accusations have drawn attention to the idea of community policing. Creating neighborhood alliances, solving problems, and putting community policing organizational elements into practice are the three main facets of community policing. The importance of community policing in boosting police legitimacy and strengthening ties between the police and the community is supported by related research and literature. Law enforcement organizations can improve direct communication with the public and foster trust by using social media. The researchers came to the following conclusions after closely examining how the data was interpreted: Most respondents "Agree" with the following statements regarding the National Capital Region Police Office's role as a social media influencer in fostering public trust: Contents, Privacy concern, Activity Plan, Interview, and Community involvement. According to 61 out of 80 respondents, the danger that followers encounter the most is "Followers may perceive NCRPO influencers as biased towards law enforcement, which can lead to skepticism about the authenticity of their messaging."
