Abstract

Identifying the challenges wet market vendors have in maintaining their livelihood businesses in Novaliches, Quezon City, is the goal of this study. These initiatives are intended to address issues with rental fees, increase competition, and improve customer service. This study used convenient cluster sampling and a descriptive analysis approach to gather data from 50 wet market sellers using a survey questionnaire. According to the results, the following key findings are highlighted: Customer service (40"): When errors or problems arise, proactively address them and make things right for the customer. Additionally, rental (3.82") encourages vendors to develop flexible strategies. Competition (3.88"): Provide distinctive and superior products that differentiate your stall from others. These findings imply that customers value proactive error resolution and feedback utilization for service improvement. The method that apologies, remedies, and compensation are given may be improved, even though prompt replies and redress for service errors are appreciated. All things considered, these insights offer insightful advice for companies looking to improve their customer service tactics, stressing the value of feedback utilization and proactive error response in promoting customer happiness. Ultimately, by providing high-quality customer service, suppliers may increase customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and improve overall business performance. According to the study, lowering rental prices, encouraging fair competition among suppliers, and upholding high standards of customer service are crucial measures to boost the market and raise industry standards for customer satisfaction. By reducing rental overheads, companies can make better use of their resources and improve the environment for both new and returning vendors. Furthermore, innovation and quality enhancements are stimulated by healthy competition, which benefits customers.
