Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly affected individuals' lives worldwide. The economies of various nations and the mental well-being of their populations have deteriorated, leading to transformative changes. A notable development has been the shift of organizations towards remote work, a response to the social isolation experienced by many. Remote work allows individuals to perform their duties from various locations, predominantly from home during the pandemic. Employees at Systemantech faced an abrupt transition to remote work amidst a climate of uncertainty. This study aimed to assess the effects of remote work arrangements on employee productivity at Systemantech Inc. Additionally, the research considered factors such as communication, technological advancements, work-life balance, and flexible work options. Consequently, the influence of remote work arrangements on employee productivity at Systemantech Inc. remains unclear, prompting this investigation to address these issues. The findings were assessed utilizing Pearson correlation, and cross tabulations were predominantly used in the methodology. Challenges faced by staff were investigated, and recommendations were made to address these issues while evaluating the impact of remote work on employee productivity. Research indicates that the influence of remote work on employee productivity is substantial, encompassing factors such as communication, technological advancements, work-life balance, and flexible work arrangements. There exists a significant correlation between the remote work environment and employee productivity. In this section, the research can explore the ramifications of the findings, examining their consistency with current literature, the practical consequences for Systemantech Inc., possible limitations of the study, directions for future research, and any suggestions derived from the results.
