A blooming plant belonging to the Mallow family, okra is a versatile meal with conflicting origins in South Asia, Ethiopia, West Africa, and Southeast Asia. Growing this adaptable crop at different temperatures is possible. In addition to being a popular in Ghanaian cooking due to its slimy texture, okra lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and stroke. Even though it looks slimy, okra is frequently used in cuisine, appearing in dishes like soup, grilled, sautéed, dried, and boiling. With an emphasis on the main ingredient, okra, researchers want to develop a healthier and tastier version of Okra Dynamite. The purpose of this study is to determine whether home economics instructors at Bestlink College of the Philippines find it acceptable. In descriptive quantitative research, purposive sampling is a non-random technique where researchers select participants based on specific characteristics relevant to the study's objectives. This method ensures that the sample aligns closely with the research focus, enhancing the depth and relevance of the data collected. In your study, thirteen higher education teachers were chosen as respondents using this approach. To gather the necessary information, the researchers employed a questionnaire—a research instrument consisting of a set of questions designed to collect data from respondents. Questionnaires are commonly used in survey research due to their efficiency and effectiveness in obtaining standardized information. They can include various types of questions, such as close-ended and open-ended, allowing for both quantitative analysis and qualitative insights. By combining purposive sampling with questionnaires, the researchers aimed to obtain targeted and comprehensive data from participants who possess specific knowledge or characteristics pertinent to the study, thereby enhancing the study's validity and relevance. The survey results indicate that Okra Dynamite is highly acceptable among respondents, with the following composite mean scores: Taste: Mean score of 3.50 Texture: Mean score of 3.65 Appearance: Mean score of 3.45 These scores suggest a positive reception, as higher mean scores typically reflect greater acceptability in sensory evaluations. Respondents' Suggestions: Increase Spiciness: Two respondents recommended enhancing the spiciness of the dish. Reduce Greasiness: Five respondents suggested decreasing the greasiness. Improve Texture: Two respondents advised improving the texture. Incorporating these suggestions could further enhance Okra Dynamite's appeal. This approach aligns with established methods in sensory evaluation, where panelists assess attributes such as taste, texture, and appearance to determine overall acceptability. The study evaluated the acceptability of Okra Dynamite among respondents, focusing on taste, texture, and appearance. The findings are as follows: Taste: Mean score of 3.50, indicating high acceptability. Texture: Mean score of 3.65, indicating high acceptability. Appearance: Mean score of 3.45, indicating high acceptability. Additionally, okra is recognized for its health benefits, including its positive impact on heart health, blood sugar regulation, and its suitability for pregnant women.
