Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of organizational culture in employee retention at Toyota North EDSA, Quezon City. This was done by analyzing demographic profiles, culture factors, and problems. It aims to inform recommendations for enhancing organizational culture. This study used a descriptive research design, survey questionnaires, simple random sampling with one-hundred forty-five (145) respondents, and statistical analysis. Results highlights the majority of respondents belong to males which got 50.34%, 21-25 years old got 40%, the length of services ranges from 1-3 years with 49.66%, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with 76.55%, and 15,001-20,000 salary received monthly with 42.07%. Toyota North EDSA's organizational culture, influenced by professionalism and integrity/honesty got the highest mean score of 3.70 categorize as “Highly Influential”.   The most problems encountered by the employees is they feel that their organization lacks in communication. In relation to gender, the result showed that there is no significant differences found between employee retention and there is significant differences between employee retention and the demographic profile in terms of age, length of service, educational attainment and monthly salary. In conclusion, there are program proposed by the researchers focused on growth of employees teamwork and communication. This is to enhance the existing organizational culture of Toyota North EDSA, Quezon City to enable retaining their current employees.
