The classroom environment has affects the academic performance of a student. One of the first access that makes a noticeable impact on student’s success is the physical environment of the classroom. The researchers conducted this study to determine the effects of the classroom environment on the academic performances of the students. The researchers used the quantitative-descriptive method. This study used purposive sampling. This study involved 50 General Academic Strand students as respondents to assess the effects of the classroom environment on the academic performances of the students. The results showed that the weighted means for female and male respondents were 3.90and 3.75, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that class participation has effects on the academic performance of the students. Meanwhile, the weighted means for female and male respondents were 3.78 and 3.65, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that attendance has effects on the academic performances of the students. The weighted means for female and male respondents were 3.77 and 3.71, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that safety has effects on the academic performance of the students. Then, the weighted means for female and male respondents were 3.87 and 3.56, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that behavior has effects on the academic performance of the students. With the overall composite weighted means for female and male respondents of 3.67 and 3.83, respectively, both groups strongly agreed that class participation, attendance, safety, and behavior have effects on the classroom environment and academic performances of the students. Based on the findings of the study and the conclusion drawn, the following suggestions were forwarded. The classroom must be organized well to arouse others’ interest in attending the class. The classroom must have proper ventilation. The classroom must be always clean to avoid the students from being distracted. Classroom officers or teachers must have strategies that may encourage students to participate. Students should be taught about behaving properly to avoid tripping hazards. Students must know that there is a consequence for cutting classes. Classroom officers must discipline their co-students properly. Students must also know how to cooperate in any school activity. The school administration should check the classroom ventilation monthly whether it is in good condition or not. Students should also see the changes in their classroom environment.
