HOTEL RESERVATION SYSTEM FOR NOVOTEL

Abstract

The Hotel Reservation System is designed to simplify the reservation process for guests and efficiently monitor hotel operations. One of its main features is its user-friendly interface, which allows room reservations through an online platform or mobile app. This ease of use includes the ability to check hotel room availability and select the type of room that best meets guests' needs. Furthermore, the system offers a quick check-in and check-out process, making it more convenient than waiting in line at the hotel. The researchers used the Waterfall Model (SDLC) in developing the system. They gathered suggestions and ideas while brainstorming for the study's title. To analyze the problem requiring a solution, the researchers conducted an interview with their client. Meanwhile, for system development, they used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Among the various design options presented, they selected a layout that would enhance the system's usability. To ensure proper functionality, a system test was conducted. For certified customer satisfaction, a fast and efficient reservation process was implemented. Lastly, to maintain the system, regular updates are performed to keep the hotel reservation software and security up to date. The hotel reservation system has improved and benefited our client’s business by enabling them to manage and track reservations efficiently. It provides convenience and flexibility for guests, allowing them to reserve rooms online anytime, from anywhere. Additionally, guests can easily compare prices, room types, and amenities, making it easier to find the perfect accommodations for their needs. This study on hotel reservation systems focuses on developing a reservation process that ensures real-time room availability, helping both staff and customers save time. It also aims to accelerate the reservation procedure through an effective, user-friendly interface. By prioritizing these aspects, the hotel reservation system can streamline the booking process, reduce time consumption for both staff and customers, and ultimately enhance the overall guest experience.
