This study explores the state of peace and order in Barangay Minuyan Proper, San Jose del Monte, by analyzing key factors that influence community safety. It aims to assess the current security conditions, identify challenges contributing to crime, and propose effective strategies to reduce criminal activities. The findings of this study will serve as a basis for enhancing public safety measures and promoting a more peaceful and orderly community. In evaluating the state of peace and order in Barangay Minuyan Proper, we employed a systematic research approach to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our findings. As criminology students from Bestlink College of the Philippines - Bulacan, we utilized random sampling to select 50 respondents from various sectors, including barangay officials, community leaders, law enforcement personnel, and residents. This method allowed for a comprehensive analysis of the community's security conditions, challenges, and potential improvements. The assessment of peace and order in Barangay Minuyan Proper highlights the influence of institutional, socioeconomic, and cultural factors on community safety. Using survey questionnaires, we gathered insights into residents' perceptions, experiences, and challenges regarding security. While there is notable confidence in local authorities, our findings identify key areas that require improvement, including community engagement, law enforcement efficiency, and crime prevention strategies. Addressing these concerns is essential to fostering a safer and more harmonious environment for all residents. Through demographic analysis, we gain valuable insights into the factors influencing peace and order in Barangay Minuyan Proper. By examining variables such as age, gender, and education, we can better understand how different groups perceive and experience safety and security. This data helps identify vulnerable populations, enabling the implementation of targeted interventions to enhance their resilience and well-being.
Furthermore, assessing law enforcement effectiveness is essential in evaluating peace and order. By gathering residents' perspectives on police presence, response times, and overall satisfaction with law enforcement services, we can pinpoint areas for improvement. This analysis provides a foundation for enhancing legal empowerment, expanding alternative conflict resolution strategies, and ensuring equal legal protection for all residents of Barangay Minuyan Proper.
