IMPACT OF ORACLE SMART TECHNOLOGY TOOLS ON THE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY OF REPUBLIC BISCUIT CORPORATION IN QUEZON CITY: BASIS FOR OPERATIONAL PLAN

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Oracle Smart Technology tools on the operational efficiency of Republic Biscuit Corporation (Rebisco) in Quezon City amid increasing digital transformation demands. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 20 employees representing HR, Sales, Finance, and Marketing through purposive quota sampling. While initial perceptions of Oracle’s effectiveness were varied, post-implementation feedback demonstrated notable improvements in inventory accuracy, procurement transparency, maintenance response times, and sales efficiency. Oracle’s cloud-based intelligent solutions optimized asset lifecycle management by facilitating real-time data analysis, automating procurement processes, enabling preventive maintenance, and strengthening customer relationship management. Nevertheless, challenges such as network instability, rapid technological advancements, and employee skill gaps were identified, underscoring the need for infrastructure enhancements and continuous training programs. The findings confirmed that Oracle Smart Technology markedly improves operational efficiency. To tackle existing inefficiencies, an operational plan was developed incorporating predictive analytics, automated supplier management, preventive maintenance, and AI-powered sales insights. These recommendations seek to enhance resource allocation, streamline manual processes, and strengthen decision-making throughout all departments. The study concludes that utilizing Oracle’s Smart Technology tools equips Rebisco with a strategic advantage in operational performance, aligning the company with global digital transformation and intelligent enterprise trends.
