Stress is a form of mental or physical tension triggered by factors that cause frustration or keep individuals in a state of heightened alertness. Anxiety manifests as feelings of fear, worry, or discomfort, which can occur even without an identifiable cause. Among Grade 12 students, excessive technology use has been linked to increased anxiety and depression, particularly when they encounter hate messages online. Overexposure to technology negatively impacts teenagers' physical and mental well-being, impairing concentration and weakening their overall health, potentially leading to illness and depression. These effects are intensified by experiences of cyberbullying and exposure to harmful online content. To address these challenges, students must learn effective strategies to limit their screen time and manage their use of technology responsibly. This study adopts a qualitative approach to examine the complex relationship between excessive technology use and increased stress and anxiety among Grade 11 and 12 students at Bestlink College – Bulacan Campus. Data will be collected through a survey employing a Likert scale to gather students’ perceptions and attitudes toward technology-related stress and anxiety. The responses will be analyzed using thematic analysis to uncover the underlying causes of stress and anxiety linked to technology use.
