Abstract

This study, entitled "Perception of Women's Leadership Style among Selected Female
Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of Quezon City," aims to assess and explore respondents'
perceptions of women's leadership. The primary goal is to determine and comprehend the
extent of women's leadership in the vicinity of Quezon City and how these issues can be
remedied. The researchers study this topic to learn more about stereotypes in leadership,
eliminate stereotypes and discrimination, and provide a thorough study of providing equal
opportunity to both men and women.

The results reveal that the majority of respondents disagree with the common stereotypes
about women in leadership while agreeing that women are more powerful than previously
believed. Stereotypes influence performance, which is useful in justifying that women are
capable of holding leadership positions and eliminating limitations on career advancement for
women. This necessitates that women leaders be more public in order for people to be
informed about their commitments.

Furthermore, The study's respondents view all areas as essential for developing strategies
like an awareness program to address the concerns of women leaders. The response,
strategies, and initiatives for awareness programs are encouraged due to the current
situation, where stereotyping and discrimination take precedence.
