Abstract

Friendship is one of the important components of a successful lifestyle, and it may also be a
strength for achieving equality and dignity in today`s society. Hence, friends serve as a means
of entering LGBT communities by forming social, religious, and political groups, including
acquiring knowledge of history and shared identity. It also acts as a means of learning about
preserving your LGBT community. Understanding our identity as members of the global
community comes through friendship.


The research supported the objective of the study of determining the impacts that LGBTQIA+
friends have on the respondents` sense of style, vices, hobbies, and relationships with their
friends and family. With the result acquired from the gathered data, it is found that there is a
significant impact on the lifestyle and society of LGBTQIA+ friends.


After the study, it was discovered that LGBTQIA+ friends of third-year psychology students of
Bestlink College of the Philippines had a significant impact on their lifestyle and social life. The
study has found that social life in terms of friends and family are the most affected components
when getting involved in an LGBTQIA+. The study shows that, among other things included in
the study, interacting with LGBTQIA+ people is indeed very beneficial in one's social life with
friends and family.
