Abstract

Most businesses in the Philippines have suffered since the coronavirus or COVID-19
pandemic began, especially those in the BPO sector. A sizable portion of employees are
unable to arrive at their employment on time due to COVID restrictions. This research aims to
examine the effect of work-from-home setup on work efficiency and the self-relationships of
employees. The process of establishing the positive or negative effect on work efficiency and
self-relationship can help them to handle work and self-relationship at the same time. The
effect of this research can be used by employers to know what they can provide to the
employees to be more productive and efficient while working from home. In addition, the effect
of this research can also help employees have lower stress and time for hobbies and interests.


The results say that the highest overall effect on the respondents that ranked 1 is the
environment, with a mean of 3.26; verbal interpretation strongly agrees. Followed by rank two
equipment with a mean of 3.08 and verbal interpretation agreement. Lastly is time
management, which is ranked number 3 with a mean of 3.06, and verbal interpretation agrees.
The overall mean is 3.13, and verbal interpretation Agrees. The results say that the highest
overall effect on the respondents that ranked 1 is self-care, with a mean of 3.28 verbal
interpretation strongly agree. This was followed by respondents' mental health, with a mean of
3.27 verbal interpretation of strongly agree. Lastly is the respondents' Hobby with a mean of
3.05 and Agree on verbal interpretation. The overall mean is 3.2, and verbal interpretation
agrees.


Crafting guidance on the effects of work-from-home setup on work efficiency and self-
relationships for the employees of Accenture. The effects of Work efficiency on the employees
of Accenture in terms of Environment, Equipment, and Time management. Also, the effect of
self-relationship of Accenture employees in terms of Hobbies, Self-care, and Mental health.
The outcome of this research has a positive result that can help the employees of Accenture
with work efficiency and self-relationship.
