Abstract

The Tagalog word for pumpkin is “kalabasa”. Researchers have found the earliest pumpkin
seeds, which date to between 7000 and 5550 BC, in Mexico. After many years, the use of
pumpkin in foods became more widespread. Due to its nutritious properties, many people use
it in cooking and making dishes, bread, desserts, and many other foods. One of the most
popular pumpkin recipes is the Pumpkin cake. Pumpkin cake is a healthy dessert with many
health benefits, such as boosting the immune system, reducing cancer risk, and improving
heart and skin.


According to the findings, employing pumpkin as the primary ingredient in the product had
partially met expectations. The evaluation of the respondent as a predicted variable has no
bearing on the results. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon powder to make the product smell
better. Respondents gave the product’s innovation a satisfactory rating for texture,

appearance, and description but gave it an unsatisfactory rating for taste and smell.


Based on the summary of findings, conclusion, and recommendation, the respondents were
satisfied with the pumpkin cake tasting and identified positive benefits for the students.
However, only a small portion of the respondents claim to be in good health. The researcher
will work to increase our expertise in conducting this study and in producing the product. All of
us researchers hope that our efforts, expertise, and study conclusion will benefit other
researchers in the future.
