Abstract

In today's generation, people often use social media to communicate with friends, family, and
different communities. Social media is also used to promote institutions such as schools, and
it is also used as a platform for businesses. Many people integrate their business with different
social media to get more followers or customers. Social media marketing has been found to be
an effective factor in the growth of brand image in hospitality management because social
media is one of the backbones of the internet. Social media has been one of the most digitally
used platforms in this age. Whereas it helps businesses and people grow and connect to
different types of audiences and various aspects of society.


According to the result of the study, the largest percentage who answered the survey were
women at the age of 22-24, with a percentage of 48%, and the challenge encountered in
promoting BSHM through social media is the "Received inaccurate information." With a
frequency of 59 and a percentage of 20.34, the recommendation of this study is that you
should also be diligent in your studies and be more strategic in life to improve your progress in
this course. Not everything seen on social media should be used as a basis; these are only
inspirations to strengthen and persevere in life and studies.


Social media is one of the in-demand tools that can be used when advertising or promoting the
brand image of Hospitality management because a lot of students spend most of their time
using social media, so it is better to use it for advertising for many people to see it easily, and
because of that you can make a lot of possible consumers that will help your business grow.
