Abstract

The researchers choose to study the Assessment of Community Awareness on Cybercrime at
Barangay Quezon City's Pasong Tamo. Today's existence is heavily reliant on the technology
that humanity has developed. Technology has grown throughout the years, changing many
aspects of daily life, such as how we connect, travel, and learn. Several changes have
resulted from continuous technological advancements. As people's wants and habits change,
there is a greater need to enhance the technology that is used. Almost every piece of
equipment used has been upgraded to a higher standard.

The study concludes that on the demographic profile of the two(2) groups of respondents, the
first is the barangay official and the second is the residents of barangay passing tamo the
majority of table 1 with the age bracket of 26 to 30 years old and in the gender, the majority is
male of barangay officials and residents of Barangay Pasong Tamo and the educational
attainment the majority is college graduate, in this case, the researchers found out that the
barangay officials are needing for funds for more projects and to aware and prevent the citizen
of Barangay Pasong Tamo.

The study's findings suggest that the barangay acquires the city ordinance to educate and
prevent the communities at barangay pasong tamo of barangay officials with the assistance of
PNP officers to improve community knowledge of barangay pasong tamo. The barangay
volunteers should continue to encourage their work efficiently and effectively to improve their
performance so as to keep the barangay area safe, and finally, the barangay and authorities
shall hold seminars for the residents and activities engaging the public to strengthen the
relationship and communication with the residents.
