Abstract

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the success of the Bureau of Fire Protection and fire
prevention measures in Barangay Novaliches Proper, Quezon City. The Bureau of Fire
Protection in Barangay Novaliches Proper, Quezon City, adopts policies to ensure community
fire safety. These programs include a range of topics, including emergency response services,
inspection and enforcement of fire safety laws, and education regarding fire prevention.
Previous studies have demonstrated that the Bureau's programs are well-managed and well-
implemented.
The results of this study revealed that the OPLAN Ligtas Pamayanan Programs and Fire
Prevention Month Programs were at the top of the prograMs. The Bureau of Fire Protection
has been aggressive in assisting the residents of Barangay Novaliches Proper to become
knowledgeable and aware of fire prevention procedures, according to the study's findings,
which were observed. This was accomplished using a variety of techniques, such as holding
fire drills in schools and other settings to teach people how to act in the event of a fire
emergency.

This study recommended that each program conduct regular community-based fire safety
education programs and training to increase awareness and preparedness among residents,
Increase the number of fire stations and fire trucks in the area to improve response time and
coverage, strengthen the inter-agency collaboration among local government units to
enhance fire safety measures and response efforts, establish a community-based fire brigade
composed of trained volunteers to assist in fire prevention response and provided incentives
in recognition programs for exemplary performance or service among Bureau of Fire
Protection personnel.
