Abstract

Criminal and deviant conduct, including genetic and environmental factors on deviant
behavior, is a significant area of criminological research and psychological research. This is
crucial to comprehend because if we can pinpoint the moment when abnormal conduct first
appears, we might be able to assist the offender to stop them from committing further crimes.

Some of the participants in our focus group, who are barangay officials and barangay
volunteers, have given their suggestions; we have found out that the best idea to prevent
crime in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City through the suggestions and ideas of barangay
officials of Batasan is first the installation of CCTV camera on different streets in Batasan Hills,
Quezon City and the second is the strict implementation of Barangay curfew. It’s one of the
most successful at decreasing juveniles' involvement in violent and property offenses below
the statutory curfew age and showed that the community’s security, order, health, and crime
prevention were all improved by the implementation of curfews.
