Abstract

The purpose of the studies was to assess how successful barangay officials in each
jurisdiction were at catching lawbreakers. The study will take seriously a number of
characteristics, including the volume of cases handled by barangay authorities. The study
might have also concentrated on determining the elements that helped barangay officials.
These variables may have included the availability of resources, capacity-building initiatives,
including training and mentoring programs, and initiatives to improve the knowledge and
abilities of barangay officials in managing law enforcement circumstances. Ultimately,
investigating how barangay officials apprehend lawbreakers is crucial for advancing good
governance, preserving public safety, and supporting the rule of law in local communities.


The results of the study revealed that the nature of offense and procedure were at the top of
the assess of apprehension of law violators. The barangay officials have been ensuring the
safety and security of residents in their area. By taking an aggressive approach to preventing
crime, they can help create more peace. The study also found that apprehension in barangay
officials concerning law violators is essential in improving their performance in carrying out
their duties. Proper training, equipment, coordination, and community engagement are
necessary to ensure that they can perform their duties effectively and efficiently.


This study recommended that the members should attend weekly training and seminars to
give an effective resolution to every dispute they handled. In hiring elderly experienced lupon
members, the public safety officers should personally give notice or summon to request
additional funds for the creation of the database management system to easily manage,
access, and update information regarding the filed case, and the barangay officials should
have a weekly guideline to the resident to their barangay.
