Abstract

Actual demonstration and hands-on training for BSHM students studying bartending to
improve their skills and knowledge of entire bar operations; bartending nowadays is a much
more specialized and serious profession.


The results of this study reveal that tools and equipment help speed up laboratory class in
preparing cocktails and mocktail drinks as moderately effective, which means most of the
respondents are aware that tools and equipment help in their laboratory class. The results of
this study maintain cleanliness as moderately effective, indicating that most of the
respondents are aware of the facility's cleanliness. Frequent skills practice is effective for
actual demonstration bartending classes. Promote good observation skills. It reveals that
actual demonstration is important to BSHM students. Financial problems and limited
laboratory time signify that most of the respondents are aware. The common problems
encountered by students in the bartending class are financial problems, limited laboratory
time, the sudden arrival of guests, and weather conditions.


Having a proper inventory of tools and equipment to replenish/replace broken tools and
equipment, having rules and regulations to maintain orderliness and cleanliness and provide
comfort, and also explaining the importance of having a proper facility, students need to focus
on the demo and spend enough time to make it meaningful, and more interesting while doing
it, students try to make a good connection with their customers in the future so that their
communication skills will be more useful also to be creative in the different strategies that can
aware student attention and focus their attention it can even give them the interest to do it with
sufficient ability and self-confidence because they focus during the demonstration.
