Abstract

Most small to medium-sized businesses are using productivity tools that can help their
businesses operate more efficiently. The study took place at WXY Incorporated in Quezon
City. The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of productivity tools on employee
work engagement and determine areas that need improvement.
The results revealed that the demographic profiles of the respondents range from 23 to 36
years old, with more females than males. The majority have backgrounds in and experience
with productivity tools. Productivity tools have a positive impact on employee work
engagement, indicating that these tools have a positive impact on employee speed of work,
accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in enhancing employee productivity and engagement
at work, but they still encounter common issues like a lack of integration, a poor internet
connection, poor usability, limited customization, inadequate training, and a lack of support.
The researchers came to the conclusion that age and gender have no impact on work
engagement when using productivity tools, while work speed, accuracy, efficiency, and
effectiveness all have an impact on employees' work engagement when using productivity
tools. Employee engagement can be impacted by issues such as a lack of integration, poor
usability, limited customization, insufficient training, and a lack of support. Employee work
engagement can be affected by improvement plans. The researchers recommend that
employees at WXY incorporated in Quezon City maintain and improve their computer literacy,
use productivity tools, set goals and to-do lists, divide tasks into smaller parts, avoid
distractions, and provide feedback. Furthermore, employees should check their internet
connection before starting their job and propose an improvement plan to improve their work
engagement. Finally, employees should be challenged to use productivity tools in order to
determine the effectiveness of the improvement plan.
