Abstract

This study aimed to determine the comparison of online shopping and traditional shopping in
terms of assessment of consumer awareness, significant differences, challenges
encountered, and possible interventions to improve the disadvantages of both online and
traditional shopping.

The result of the study revealed that online shopping is the most favorable market due to its
advantages over traditional shopping.

The researchers recommend that customers who don't know much about what they're buying
should be assisted in becoming aware of what, where, and for what they're consuming.
Customers must understand the differences between online and traditional shopping to
analyze what aspect of each method of shopping stands out. Businesses should prioritize the
satisfaction of their consumers by easing challenges occurring in online shopping in terms of
shopping, vouchers and discounts, and communication. At the same time, traditional sellers
should focus on resolving problems in terms of variety, process, and convenience. To
enhance both methods of shopping, appropriate interventions should be made.
