Abstract

Hospitality technology encompasses an extensive variety of IT, e-commerce, and related
technology solutions. Utilizing this technology aims to enhance the overall experience for hotel
guests or transform the life of a company's staff. Modern technology has made an important
contribution to the hospitality industry. The Assessment of modern technology in Sogo Hotel
Novaliches, Quezon City: Basis for enhancement gives advantages in many ways. People or
customers can easily access the services they want.


Regarding the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of their age, most of the
respondents were male, aged 18 to 30 years old. This shows that the marketing promotion of
Sogo Hotel is effective with the help of modern technology. Nowadays, technology is very
rampant; it has an impact not just on the lives of people but also on the business industry.
Most of the respondents' problems encountered in Sogo Hotel are poor Internet speed and
connection, agreeing that this is the major problem in the effectiveness of modern technology.


The Sogo Hotels should provide faster and more stable internet connection for their guest or
customers. Modern technology equipment used to utilize the hotel must be inspected properly
for the safety and satisfaction of the guest. Always check the security privacy of the guest in
the reservation to avoid giving the wrong online reservation. The Sogo Hotel should focus on
how to assess the modern technology that can improve their services to their customers or
make them satisfied with the service. Lastly, future studies are recommended to broaden their
understanding and knowledge regarding the other problem that affects the customer's
dissatisfaction with the services given by hotels and other hospitality establishments.
