Impact of Time Management on the Student Academic Performance in Selected Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Students at Bestlink College of the Philippines Amidst Online Learning

Abstract
The Coronavirus pandemic has significantly altered the way students in higher education learn. Eye-to-eye gatherings for teaching and learning have given way to virtual gatherings via various web-based learning frameworks. Web-based learning is very different, and time management is critical. They should make distance learning a part of their daily lives. Because they are responsible for their learning and speed, they should be able to manage their time effectively to fit in their web-based courses and other commitments. It is regarded as a valuable resource that everyone possesses, aiding individuals in achieving their life goals. Furthermore, many students lack the necessary skills; they have no idea how to deal with or manage their time. As a result of their inadequacy and weakness, they suffer in both the academic and personal realms. This research aims to determine how students' time management affects their academic performance while participating in online learning. The researcher's respondents are the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students of Bestlink College of the Philippines, and this research aims to identify the factors influencing time management on student academic performance and to look for potential solutions to the problem.
This study utilized a descriptive research design method with fifty (50) selected Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students of Bestlink College of the Philippines—the sampling questionnaire. The data gathered were analyzed using ranking, percentages, and weighted mean.
The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students who participated in the researcher’s survey answered the question regarding the impact of time management on academic performance amidst online learning, in which procrastination, disorganization, and distraction are the factors affecting their time management. The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students also believed that they need to attend online classes and examinations with unclear directions consistently, which can influence students' scores and school workloads should be lessened to avoid stress and a noisy background cannot help them understand the discussion online and student development make sure that if they used their time productively can help them to become well prepared and acknowledge students.
The results demonstrate that Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students agreed that there are factors that affect the time management of the students, which affects them negatively during online learning. Still, the students agreed that they should attend online classes consistently. School workloads online should be lessened to one subject, one project only, and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students agreed that scheduling timetables will assist them in keeping track of their responsibilities and will help them always be prepared and acknowledged by the school.
