Abstract

Tourists' perception of a destination's image as a preferred choice for travel is crucial. There are a lot of risks to be encountered. According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), safety and security are the two vital things in providing quality tourism, and they are the determinants of failure and success of a tourism destination and its visitors. This study will help us know the challenges that La Mesa Eco Park tourist spots face before they become popular with the public.

The researchers utilized the quantitative research method, with questionnaires as the instrument for gathering the data needed. The quantitative method is appropriate to this study since it aims to provide preventive measures in guarding guests in Eco Park despite the issues and threats that it faces. Researchers constructed a 23-item survey questionnaire.

This study aimed to determine the safety and security of tourists visiting La Mesa Eco Park. The researchers utilized this technique to select fifty (50) respondents of tourists who visited La Mesa Eco Park.

The research aims to help La Mesa Eco Park's security management improve all the concerns of the tourists of La Mesa Eco Parks. Based on the results of our survey in La Mesa Eco Park, the security management needs to ensure wet surfaces or parts of the park are covered with nonslip materials, develop and communicate written instructions regarding the evacuation procedure, procure security surveillance or CCTV cameras within the parameters of the park, and provide contact information of the security management of La Mesa to guests in case of any emergency.
