Abstract

Regular physical exercise and sports engagement were both found to independently contribute to better well-being and lower levels of anxiety and depressive symptoms in both sexes in a multi-level mixed model. Meeting the WHO's recommended activity levels does not seem to have any significant benefits for mental health. Interventions in physical activity have been demonstrated. 

In this study, researchers use descriptive survey research methods to investigate and collect information regarding the. “Level of Effectiveness of Physical Activity on Mental Health Among Selected Students at Bestlink College of the Philippines” Purposive Sampling Techniques were used to select 50 BPED students of 3rd to 4th-year level. Data were collected via a highly survey questionnaire. The data were analyzed quantitatively and were using tables.               

Mental illness in students is associated with poor future occupational performance, decreased vocational preparation, and worse academic achievement. The short-term findings of studies on interventions to improve mental health and prevent mental illness have been encouraging, but the longer-term benefits of interventions also need to be considered.
