As the proponents dug deeper into the problem,they found a solution that can improve the decision-making and management of the company in terms of evaluating employees and applicants. The motel and restaurant management system has subsystems called Human Resource 1 (HR1). HR1 has different levels of activities with designated submodules. These submodules are new hire on board, performance management, recruitment, applicant management, and social recognition. The proponents used the agile scrum methodology. Using this method, the scrum and the scrum team have to set a time duration with specific tasks to develop and meet the requirements in terms of developing and improving the system weekly with a series of trials and errors. Agile scrum methodology helped the team to identify the technical needs and time frame to finish the project. The research conducted by the development team showed the series of problems in the Human ResourceDepartment, especially in Human Resource Part 1. It has many activities to do, and all these activities take place simultaneously. Managing these diverse activities manually can be difficult. The researchers developed an electronic way to reach users by using available devices on Internet. Submodules including recruitment, applicant management, new hire on board, performance management, and social recognition were improved for a fast and easy transaction. This study focused on finding the best applicant that suits the company’s qualifications. Human Resource 1’sfunction is to help the company in selecting and appointing a suitable candidate for the job within an organization by making Internet-based technologies that will support all aspects of recruitment, hiring, and developing each applicant with the proper learning and attitude that will benefit the company and employee at the end of the process.</p> ER -
