We are living in a computer age where everything is on the computer, and everyone is using it every step of the way. Students learned that Research is a hard subject, especially before the use of computers. PowerPoint makes the subject easier to understand. It is now easy for the students to understand and present research without using hard material to present it. Those who use PowerPoint are not only the students but also the teachers, professors, and mentors. Because of technology, studying the Research subject is possible and attainable. Quantitative research was used as the research design for the study. We utilized purposive sampling to gather respondents who assessed the effectiveness of using PowerPoint presentations in terms of motivation, visualization, and guide. The study used a survey questionnaire administered by the researchers to gather data from the two groups of respondents. The results showed that PowerPoint presentation has an impact in teaching the Research subject in terms of motivation, with the weighted means of 4.36 for male respondents and 4.16 for female respondents, both of which were interpreted as strongly agree. In terms of visualization, with the weighted means of 4.21 for male respondents and 4.17 for female respondents, both had a verbal interpretation of strongly agree. With the weighted means of 4.05 for male respondents and 4.12 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that PowerPoint is a guide in teaching the Research subject of selected Grade 12 students. With the overall weighted means of 4.20 for male respondents and 4.15 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that PowerPoint presentation is effective in terms of motivation, visualization, and guide. The subsequent discussions forwarded by the two groups of respondents are the following: teachers should present a video clip or show some pictures that are connected to your topic, use animation effect, use attractive background, use simple words and quotation marks for better comprehension, make the presentation clear, use simple font style (e.g., Times New Roman), not use contrasting colors for your background and style, present the topic in a slow pace, do the presentation step by step, and interact with the students.</p> ER -
