They can express their feeling by telling their story according to strategy. The importance of the topic is to inform the students and teachers that improving conversation inside the classroom can improve the student’s academic performance. This research also aims to improve the students’ self-confidence in expressing their feeling. The researchers chose this topic because students’ behavior is affected by their problems at home, thereby affecting their relationships with other people and their academic performances. The purpose of our study is to give awareness to the students and teachers on how to resolve these issues, promote healthy classroom conversations inside a room, and avoid having a disrespectful attitude. The study adopted a survey method, which is applicable in any research. This study used a descriptive research design because the main problem or concept of the study is based on observation inside the classroom. The respondents of the study were 50Grade 12 students that were selected through quota sampling. Based on the results of the study, student talk activities addressed the problems and improved the conversation and communication of the students to other person in terms of (1) bible study (it helped them develop a good conversation with their classmates and teachers; they also gain encouragement, motivation, and moral and spiritual support they needed; they can also share their personal problems and develop trusts to one another, having the care and concern with other people without any judgement), (2) homeroom (it helped them develop a good conversation with their classmates and teachers; with the help of the teachers, they were able to identify the issues inside the classroom and address it immediately to develop the harmonious relationship and communication with one another), and (3) counseling (it helps the students to address their problems affecting their academic performances in the school;with proper counselling from the teachers and school guidance and counsellor, they will be able to open up their problems and struggles to direct them to do the right thing). It also developed their trust in themselves and other people. To effectively improve the classroom conversation, the recommended are as follows: (1) student talk activities such as bible study, care group, and other group discussions that help them speak out should be conducted, (2) sharing in homeroom discussion is an effective activity for student because this the way to express their problem to their teacher, and (3) students can talk individually in forums, which may lessen the pain they have.</p> ER -
