Research needs cooperation; it allows people in groups to solve certain problems. Research consumes time; it cannot be accomplished instantly. One needs self-encouragement to comply with all the demands of research. The researchers used a qualitative research design here. The researchers also utilized the purposive sampling technique to choose 90 Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand students with TTHS class schedules as the respondents of this study. Survey questionnaires were administered to determine the available ideas to answer the questions. The results of this study revealed that the benefits of research subject significantly affect the academic development of Grade 12 HUMSS Strand students in Bestlink College of the Philippines in terms of the area of knowledge, performance skills, oral defense, and attendance, as assumed by 90 respondents with the weighted average of 3.80, which was interpreted as “agree.” Grade 12 students encountered problems regarding the aforementioned variables as revealed by the result of the administered survey. The researchers concluded that the research subject significantly affected the academic development of students in terms of knowledge, performance skills, and oral defense. The researchers likewise discovered that the students cannot easily do a study if they do not have an interest in it. Therefore, the researchers recommended that in research, students must learn how to make a study interesting. Students should also be responsible at all times.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Ascendens Asia Singapore – Bestlink College of the Philippines Journal of Multidisciplinary Research}, author={Martin, Angelo and Ganit, Rose Ann and Ehagonia, Robert and Aquino, Jenecel and Mirasol, Midel}, year={2020}, month={Apr.} }
