College life helps students develop their knowledge and skills in many ways, thereby giving them a love for knowledge and inquisitiveness that will serve them in all of their pursuits. Molding a student’s character, talents, and skills perfectly would take time. Our government implemented the K-to-12 program. This study was conducted to assess the level of additional two years of High School for the preparedness of students to enter college. The results of the study showed that in terms of skills, the computed weighted mean for male and female respondents was 4.08, which was interpreted as strongly agree. In terms of knowledge, the weighted means for male and female respondents were 3.98 and 4.15, respectively, both of which were interpreted as strongly agree. In terms of values and ethics, the weighted means for male and female respondents were 4.30 and 4.11, respectively, both of which were interpreted as strongly agree. Based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations drawn were forwarded. (1) School faculties and administrators should implement strict rules toward enhancing the students’ skills to assess and get a better result of the activities done within the two years of high school for college preparedness. (2) For students, it will be helpful if they will undergo classroom/field activities that will mold their behavior and attitude to prepare them for college and their career path. (3) Teachers and administrators should provide hands-on activities and practices for students to apply their acquired skills and knowledge to guide students in choosing their college courses wisely. (4) In addition to activities, the school should provide learning material that enhances the critical thinking skills of students.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Ascendens Asia Singapore – Bestlink College of the Philippines Journal of Multidisciplinary Research}, author={Brozas, Maychelle and Briones, Trishia Caryll and Fusi, Jennielyn and Bernales Jr., Geovannie}, year={2020}, month={Apr.} }
