The researchers conducted this study to determine the effectiveness of using audio-visuals in teaching Science. A quantitative method was used in the study. Using a descriptive design, this study focused on the three variables identified on the effectiveness of using audiovisual materials in teaching Science, namely, attention, activities, and examination. The researchers used the purposive sampling to select the respondents. Data were gathered by distributing questionnaires to the target respondents. Based on the summary table, male and female respondents, which had the weighted means of 4.07 and 3.97, respectively, strongly agreed that using audio-visuals is effective in getting the attention of students while teaching Science. With the weighted means of 4.08 for male respondents and 3.95 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that activities have an impact on the effectiveness of using audio-visuals in teaching Science. With the weighted means of 3.91 for male respondents and 3.9 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that the use of audio-visuals is effective in getting the attention of students. With the overall weighted means of 4.02 for male respondents and 3.94 for female respondents, both groups agreed that the use of audio-visual is effective in catching the student’s attention in teaching Science. The action plan forwarded by the two groups of respondents is the following: the resources should be available, should be relevant to the lesson, and should be easier to understand.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Ascendens Asia Singapore – Bestlink College of the Philippines Journal of Multidisciplinary Research}, author={Romano, Bettymae and Samudio, Riena and Paulino, Matt Rojan and Palacios, Donna and Toca, Michael Angelo and Bernales Jr., Geovannie}, year={2020}, month={Apr.} }
